Cayuga Park
A branding project for San Francisco’s hidden gem; a park with over 300 hand-carved wooden statues.
Cayuga Park is neighborhood park nested in the Outer Mission District of San Franciso. Featuring over 375 hand-carved figurines created by artist Demetrio Braceros, Cayuga served as a rehabilitation project to unite the neighborhood. I created a wordmark that would celebrate the earthy aesthetic to the environment, while considering the form of the statues as design carved from wood. The logo is simplistic and emblematic of tree rings.
