From 2017-2018, I interned at the BAMPFA Art Lab. The art lab is a drop-in maker space that is free with museum ticket admission. Stocked with analog materials from markers to vintage books for collaging to letraset, the art lab is a magical hub of creativity for all ages. Inspired by the analog and collaborative process of the art lab I transitioned to programming in 2018. Approaching designers and artists within the Bay Area I have helped many designers craft workshops in conjunction with current museum exhibitions. Using the art lab risograph participants have been able to collage words and images from the Way Bay exhibitions at BAMPFA, as well as craft three-dimensional utopian realities, and many other projects.
